Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Unfortunately it seems that the Coronavirus is creeping closer at an unnerving rate and so we just wanted to let you know what we have been doing, and will continue to do, to keep everyone around us safe and to be a part of halting the spread of Covid-19 rather than be a part of the problem.

  1. Our staff were already being asked to stay at home if they develop a sore throat, temperature or even flu-like symptoms, this will continue under current guidelines issued by the PM on 12th March.
  1. We are no longer shaking hands (sorry!).
  1. We are carrying out Valuations, Viewings and Property Inspections as normal.  All of those being met at a property will be asked prior to their visit whether they, or anyone in close daily contact with them, has travelled overseas or had any flu-like symptoms that include a temperature, sore throat or breathing issues in the last fortnight.  If they answer yes, any meeting with them will be postponed for a minimum of 2 weeks.
  1. All maintenance visits will continue as normal with the same checks being asked of contractors and any other involved party as above.
  1. All visitors to our office will be asked to hand sanitise on entrance and are also asked if they have experienced any flu-like symptoms that include a temperature, sore throat or breathing issues or have flown in the last fortnight.  If they have, we are politely requesting that we maintain a 1 metre distance (as per government guidelines) or that we deal with their enquiry over the phone.  Please do not take offence at this measure if you visit us, we are trying to prevent the spread and keep you, your family, friends, our team and their friends and family safe, some of whom are elderly and/or are at serious risk if they contract the virus.
  1. In the extreme circumstance that we are required to close the office and cease day to day contact, our business will continue to operate remotely with all members of the team available by telephone and email, unless they are affected by the virus.

We hope to be able to resume our usual handholding, hugging and sociable service as soon as possible but we want to be a part of the cure and as such will be strictly adhering to all necessary actions to keep everyone safe.   We wish you all the best of luck and health over the coming weeks as we all rally to overcome this crisis and remain here at your service for all of your property needs.
